1923 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It might be the most historic season in a franchise history populated with twenty-seven World Championships, home run records, peerless hitting streaks and perfect games. The 1923 season saw the pinstripers claim their first Fall Classic glory to conclude the inaugural season of the House that Ruth Built, and here we present one of the rare few team balls to memorialize that first Bronx edition. Condition concerns about this OAL (Johnson) ball must be forgiven and forgotten in light of the tremendous scarcity and desirability, and we report identifiable autographs of Ruth, Pennock, Hoyt, Pipp, Ward, Jones, Shawkey, Pipgras, Scott, Meusel, Bengough (deemed clubhouse by JSA) and more. It's a true cornerstone piece to a serious Yankee collection. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
