    Description

1923 Mike Gazella New York Yankees Player's Contract. Yankee scholars will surely recognize the name of this utility infielder who came to the team as a rookie the year Yankee Stadium was born and won the American League pennant each of the four seasons of his service to the pinstripes. This is the paperwork that begun that Championship run, stipulating a salary of $400 per month. Autograph collectors will love the signatures compiled on this document, from American League president Ban Johnson (on the cover), to Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert, to super-scout Paul Krichell (discovered everyone from Gehrig to Whitey Ford) to Gazella himself. All autographs are 10/10 in boldness. The contract shows some wear and minor separation at the storage folds, but none of these issues affect the autographs and the piece remains solid and complete. LOA from PSA/DNA.
