    Description

1922 George Wright Signed Photographic Image in Booklet. Like Wilbur and Orville, the pioneering Wright brothers of our National Pastime remain an indispensable part of American history and an essential component of a truly comprehensive autograph collection. Older brother Harry is a bit easier to locate, considering the availability of numerous score books filled out in his hand, several of which have appeared within Heritage auctions. But George is a true challenge, and here you'll find what should be considered one of the finest examples from that microscopic supply. The star of the first professional ballclub, the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings, George Wright signs below his photographic image in the presented booklet entitled, "A New England Institution: Commemorating the Golden Anniversary of the founding of Wright & Ditson." In 10/10 black fountain pen ink, the inscription reads, "Your Old Friend George Wright, 1847-1922." A light vertical fold runs through this page and every other, causing little distraction, with moderate cover wear the only other issue to note. A remarkable relic, one of the only known George Wright signed images in the hobby. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
