1922 Charles Comiskey Signed Letter. The Hall of Fame owner of the Chicago White Sox responds to a letter from a young lady who had been treated rudely while attending a game. He writes, in part, "...I was very sorry to learn of your unfortunate affair at Comiskey Park last Sunday. I cannot account for this as we have ample police to protect every one of our patrons and of course you realize in a crowd of 38,000 it is very easy to get a few young men who lack the courtesy of being gentlemen..." The message is typed on gorgeous team letterhead and signed at the close in 8/10 black fountain pen ink. Original mailing folds, and very light toning. Original mailing envelope included. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
