    Description

1920's Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker & Eddie Collins Signed Baseball. The Ban Johnson presidential stamping on the presented Official American League ball indicates pre-1928 derivation of the four Hall of Fame signatures likewise applied to the ancient horsehide, assuring playing-days vintage. Sharing the sweet spot are Tris Speaker and Walter Johnson. Directly to the south, Eddie Collins. And, finally, the great Ty Cobb signs to the east. Each appears in 6/10 to 7/10 blue ink, and while the ball exhibits scattered staining and abrasions (obscured writing), the autographs themselves are spared the brunt. A marvelous compilation of names that still heavily populates Major League record books. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
