    Description

1920's George Sisler Single Signed Baseball. Fifty-one stolen bases and an unearthly .420 batting average made Sisler a landslide winner of the 1922 American League MVP Award, and his durability and consistency made him a Hall of Famer. Here we present a marvelous example of his rare single, a special "playing days" specimen as indicated by the Ban Johnson presidential stamping that was last applied to American League baseballs in 1927. Sisler's sweet spot signature registers at an impressive 7/10 and the ball itself looks like it was manufactured yesterday, featuring pale white hide and the boldest of factory stamping. Certainly one of the finest Sisler singles in the hobby. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
