    Description

1911 T205 Gold Border Bill Carrigan Tobacco Card PSA/DNA NM-MT 8, Signed. Autographed T205s are very rarely offered at auction. This is certainly a reflection of the precious few known. Bill Carrigan was a catcher for 10 years who also managed for 7 seasons, all with the Boston Red Sox. He was on the pennant-winning 1912 Red Sox team and was player-manager of the 1915 and 1916 teams that won the World Series. The card itself presents is in very-good condition (a light pencil mark on the reverse) but what makes this T205 so enticing is the blue ballpoint pen signature that has been authenticated and graded PSA/DNA NM-MT 8.

I am completely satisfied, more to the point, absolutely ecstatic, about not only the proceeds but the wonderful professional manner every aspect of my little consignment was handled.
