Description
1907 Tommy Burns Handwritten Signed Postcard. The reigning Heavyweight Champ writes to the editor of "The Sporting Tribune" from London, confirming a December 2nd date for his upcoming meeting with James "Gunner" Moir, who he would dispatch with a tenth-round knockout to retain the belt he would surrender a year later to the great Jack Johnson. Full text: "Friend Eddie, we fight Dec 2th (sic) now. This date is sure. Will write & send you photo of Moir next week. Neail sends regards. [signed] Tommy Burns, your friend."
