One of three lots presented within this auction deriving from the Joe Tinker family, this selection of three photos and two photo postcards provides rare insight into the personal life of the Chicago Cubs Hall of Famer. The contents: 1) Late 1890's cabinet photo of Joe Tinker as a boy, 4x6.5". 2) Late 1890's cabinet photo of Tinker's father, 4x6.5". 3) Snapshot photo of Tinker and his wife on a cruise, 4x5". 4) Postcard picturing Tinker in a Harvard sweater, addressed to Tinker from a family member. 5) Real photo postcard identified in Tinker's 8/10 black fountain pen ink as "The Tinker home," effectively a partial autograph. All pieces rate EX-MT. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
