Description

Circa 1930 Winfield - Model SR Carburetor. Known as the "Founder of American Race Technology" Ed Winfield was a mechanical genius. In his youth he worked for Harry Miller and went on to manufacture speed parts. If you had a Winfield head, cam, or carburetor, or better yet all three you were the first to cross the finish line. Offered here is a gold plated Model SR Winfield Carburetor mounted on wooden base. It is believed that this Serial # SR B4093 Winfield Carburetor is from a winning race car and was gold plated and awarded to the driver. This item screams for attention when displayed properly.
