Description

1916 Tango Eggs Buck Weaver (Picture Joe Tinker) PSA NM 7. The Tango Eggs series was unknown until a discovery of less than 500 cards in 1991. Buck Weaver, one of the infamous "Eight Men Out" from 1919 Chicago Black Sox fame, batted .324 in the Series with no errors committed in the field. While he maintained his innocence, Weaver was banned for having knowledge of the fix and not informing team officials. In a case of mistaken identity, this card actually pictures Joe Tinker - the Hall of Famer of Chicago Cubs fame.
