Description
1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 PSA VG 3. For many, this card opened the door to hobby enlightenment. For most outside the hobby, this card represents the hobby. It is the single most desirable card of the post-war era. While it is the tremendous historical relevance of the Mick that drives its value. Offered is a solid example, graded PSA VG 3. His portrait is affected by wrinkling in the upper left but is nicely centered. The lower left corner has a light crease. There is some totally acceptable edge and corner wear in addition to print ghosting and handling that resulted in a snowy appearance giving his portrait a nostalgic aura that says this card was note just stored away in the dark.
