1921 E253 Oxford Confectionary Ty Cobb PSA EX-MT 6 - Only One Higher. The Oxford Confectionery series is quite scarce and passionately pursued for the high percentage of Hall of Famers featured among its modest roster of 20 subjects. A key E253 is baseball legend Ty Cobb. The gritty print quality only enhances the grizzled facial features of an aging legend, hardened by years of inner turmoil and corrosive hate for many of his fellow athletes and fans. An ideal middle grade example, only light corner wear and one small spot stain on the reverse accounts for the technical grade. A scarce Cobb card collectible that is just a neat card to have in one's collection as most collections are lacking this card. Graded PSA EX-MT 6.
