Description
1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 PSA VG-EX+ 4.5. Any serious hobbyist with a thrill for vintage cardboard will immediately recognize the given example as one of the true gems of the industry. Behold the #311 Mickey Mantle rookie card from Topps' celebrated 1952 issue -- which remains the single most sought-after Mantle card that there is. An absolute symbol of the collecting industry, one would do well to obtain a Mantle rookie with the eye appeal of the sparkling exemplar that we set before you today. This fine example has been graded PSA VG-EX+ 4.5. After careful review we have been unable to find any creases or wrinkles. Sure, the central image is off center but once you have this card in your hand you just don't care. The glowing-white borders are minimally affected by some very faint toning, corners show hints of wear which is very acceptable for the given grade. Deep and vivid hues in conjunction with perfect registration make for one of the most impressive displays this writer has seen on a Mantle in a long time. A fabulous looking card with visual quality normally seen on a card graded at the NM-MT level... and this one will not set you back six-figures.More information about Mickey Mantle Sports Player.
