Description

1887 N172 Old Judge Watch Burnham, Man'gr (#55-1) PSA VG-EX 4. Burnham was a manager and umpire who got the name "Watch" for an incident with King Kelly. In the process of ejecting Kelly from a game, Burnham took out a watch while telling Kelly he had one minute to get off the field. Kelly destroyed the watch not realizing it was the same watch his team presented to him before the game. Burnham was holding onto it... to safe keeping. This is his only pose in the N172 series. Pose: #55-1 Portrait, Looking Left; Caption: BURNHAM, Man'gr Indianapolis; Grade: PSA VG-EX 4; Photo Quality: Good-Very Good.
