Description
1928 W502 Babe Ruth #6 PSA VG 3. From the George M. Joyce Collection. Soon after the magical 1927 season this very obscure black & white issue appeared but the exact original is still a mystery. Cards are found with baseball terms, "Three Bagger" in this case or with information about a prize exchange offer. What is not a mystery is this very nice looking W502 that features the great Bambino, his perfectly centered portrait surrounded by a white frame showing minor spot stains.
