Description
1915 Cracker Jack Ed Rousch (Roush) #161 PSA NM 7. Like all high numbers over #144, this was the only year this card was available. Ed Roush was his own worst enemy. He was a "passionate" soul known for throwing with both his left and right arms and his staged annual salary wars, one holdout caused him to miss the entire 1930 season. Ed played for almost two decades retiring with a .323 average including 11 straight years of .300+ performances. Earning batting titles in 1917 and 1919, World Series glory was achieved for the Cincinnati Reds but even that would be marred by controversy. Roush played two years for Indianapolis of the newly formed Federal league, the same team he is pictured with on this PSA NM 7 Cracker Jack card from 1915. The thin-paper card has four quality corners which surround a precisely centered and vivid portrait.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
