1959 Fleer "Three Stooges" Curly #1 PSA NM-MT 8 - Scarce grey back Variety! In 1959, everybody's favorite slapstick comedy trio, The Three Stooges, was documented by the folks at Fleer who issued a ninety-six card set at the height of their popularity. Starting off the set were individual cards of Moe, Larry and Curly which remains among the most sought after non-sports cars of the modern era. Offered is a stunning PSA NM-MT 8 copy simply titled "Curly" which is the first card in the set and yes, it is a condition sensitive entry if there ever was one. This one of nineteen cards at this grade level with four others grading higher, three of which are a mere half grade bump. A gray back variation scarcity, we have been able to confirm that 12 of the 23 cards graded 8 to 9 are not gray backs. This could be the lone grey back grading NM-MT.
