1926 Spalding Champions Walter Hagen PSA NM-MT 8 - With Coupon. Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, one of four at this grade with four higher. Walter Hagen was one of the greatest golfers of his era. His prominence among the golfing elite is evidenced by his appearance in the multitude of golf related promotions. The 1926 Spalding Champions set featured Hagen as well as a list of others but it is Hagen who is the most desirable. The cards were circulated with a "Sport-Scrip" 10-cent coupon good for Spaulding brand sporting goods inside a wax paper glassine envelope. This lots includes an original coupon and envelope. This beauty has a crisp ink strike on a bright white field with four very sharp corners. The graphics sit a little high of center which seems to explain the technical grade.
