Description

Triple Signed 1969 Topps John Havlicek Rookie #20 BGS Authentic, BAS Authentic Auto. Hoops Hall of Famer John Havlicek was a tireless forward-guard who played a vital role in helping the Boston Celtics claim eight NBA titles. And even though he retired following the 1976-77 season, "Hondo" remains the all-time leading scorer for the Celts with 26,395 total career points. His rightful induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame took place in 1984. Offered is Havlicek's 1969 Topps rookie card, which shows him seemingly setting up for a free throw. This Authentic version of card #20 from the '69 Topps tall-boy set is enhanced by not one, but three different signatures from Havlicek (one on the front, two on the back). The perennial All-Star workhorse signed his name in blue ink twice and black ink once, possibly trying to outdo the previous efforts. This triple-signed RC from Havlicek could very well be the only one of its kind in existence! Encapsulated BGS Authentic with a certified BAS Authentic Auto.
