1935 Babe Ruth Signed Cardinals Boys Band I.D. Card.
The Babe was in his final season as a player when he made young Melvin York's day by signing the front of his "Cardinal Boys Band" identification card in 9/10 pencil. Joining him (upside down) is fellow Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean, one year after the great Gas House Gang World Championship. Card shows typical wear for a seventy-year old child's artifact, and while foxing and an inch-long tear meet with Dizzy's autograph, the Babe is unmolested. Verso of card has the rules of membership, which include promising never to skip school to attend a game. Measures 2.25x4". LOA from James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA.

1985 NFC East Division Champions Washington Redskins Team Signed Football.
Won in February of 1985 in a drawing at a local department store, this 1984 Washington Redskins team signed football includes 40+ signatures including Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinees John Riggins and Joe Gibbs (CH). After back to back Super Bowl appearances, winning Super Bowl XVII vs. Miami 27-17 and losing Super Bowl XVIII vs. Los Angeles 38-9, the Redskins won their final 4 games to win the NFC East with an 11-5 record. Their bid for a 3rd straight NFC Championship ended with a stunning home loss to the Chicago Bears (23-19) at RFK Stadium. A memorable team; nevertheless, featuring "The Hogs," "The Fun Bunch," and "The Smurfs."
Other signatures of note include 1984 Pro-Bowl team members Darrell Green, Russ Grimm, Joe Jacoby, and Art Monk. In addition to Grimm and Jacoby, other original members of the Washington Redskins offensive line dubbed "The Hogs" who signed include Mark May, Don Warren and Rick "Doc" Walker - who incidentally developed the concept of the Skins "Fun Bunch". The 1984 edition of the Washington Redskins raised the bar on endzone celebrations by performing a group high-five after scoring, annoying opponents and eventually forcing the league to change its rules disallowing "excessive celebrations." Other standouts who signed include Joe Theismann, Joe Washington, "Smurf" Charlie Brown, Dexter Manley (CH), Charles Mann and Dave Butz, Mark Moseley.
LOA from James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA. Additional letter from February of 1985 written by General Manager of the awarding department store.

1950's Ernie Banks Chicago Cubs Picture Pennant.
The finest specimen we've seen of this rare pennant, featuring a boyish 500 Home Run Club member peeking through a window cut in the NRMT felt. The slightest wear at the tip is barely worth mentioning, and takes a keen eye to even see. "All Sports Company" manufacturer's address is printed on paper backing of Banks' image. 20" in length.
