Description

1962 Topps Roberto Clemente #10 SGC 96 Mint 9 - Pop Two, None Higher. The iconic Hall of Fame outfielder Roberto Clemente was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1954 rule 5 draft. Not a bad choice considering Clemente played for 18 seasons in the Steel City and collected exactly 3,000 hits. On his 1962 Topps card #10, Clemente is captured here in his easygoing stance that erupted when he'd make contact with the ball. This is a very high quality card that carries an almost never encountered SGC 96 Mint 9 assessment. A lofty judgment for this condition sanative issue, and from SGC. From a total population of 550+ submissions, this card is just one of two in "96 Mint 9" with none higher.
