Description

1955 University of Kansas Allen Fieldhouse Original Lights.
Named after Dr. Forrest C. "Phog" Allen, Allen Fieldhouse is one of college basketball's most important and iconic arenas and home to the Kansas Jayhawks basketball teams. Basketball founder James Naismith was the team's first coach and Wilt Chamberlain was its greatest player.

Here are four original lights which hung in the arena when it first opened in 1955, and shone on Phog Allen, Wilt Chamberlain and countless other stars for half a century. Two red, one green, and one blue, each bears the arena's fiftieth anniversary logo decal. Diameter: 12" each. Weight: about two pounds and ten ounces each.
