1972 Super Bowl VII Most Valuable Player Watch Presented to Jake Scott from The Jake Scott Collection. Rarely do defensive players win the Most Valuable Player in the Super Bowl. The adulation usually goes to the skill position players who gain yards and score touchdowns. Jake Scott contributed two interceptions when the Dolphins reached football immortality. The undefeated Dolphins needed Scott's heroics to hold off the pesky Redskins 14-7. The offering has "14k Gold" engraved on the reverse. "Most Valuable Player Super Bowl VII Jake Scott" is noted on the face along with AFC, NFC and NFL emblems. The original hinged cherry box accompanies. Letter of provenance from Jake Scott's family.
