1950's Archie Moore Worn Boxing Gloves. One of two lots consigned to this Signature auction by the family of Archie Moore, these gloves exhibit heavy wear from the number four man on Ring Magazine's all-time pound-for-pound punchers, but sadly the date or event from which they derive is lost to history. Were they worn during one of his 131 knockout victories? Or were they worn in training? The lack of any markings or labeling leaves the question unanswerable.
