Circa 1995 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Many things can be said about Buck Showalter's run as the New York Yankees manager, and one of those is that he did a great job of keeping the nucleus of his team intact between 1992-95, enabling him to post a Yankees record of 313-268. This particular OAL (Brown) baseball features twenty-one signatures in all, with most of them being players on the team the entire Showalter era. Due to the inclusion of both the manager (on the sweet spot), and Derek Jeter, it can be concluded this baseball likely dates from 1995 during Jeter's rookie campaign.Jeter grades an 8/10 only due to very light foxing on the "J" in Jeter, with Showalter, the 1994 Manager of the Year and 1995 A.L. All-Star manager, also ranking in at an 8/10. Other notables on the ball include Wade Boggs, John Wetteland, David Cone, Don Mattingly, Steve Howe, Mariano Rivera, Melido Perez, Paul O'Neill, Scott Kamieniecki, Jimmy Leyritz, Luis Polonia, Jimmy Key, Russ Davis, Pat Kelly and Randy Velarde, in pleasing 8/10 or better ink.
