Description

1997 Jim Harbaugh Game Worn Indianapolis Colts Jersey. Long before his illustrious coaching career, Pro Bowler Jim Harbaugh was a NFL quarterback for fifteen seasons, earning the nickname "Captain Comeback" for his ability to rally the team in close games. His most notable season came in 1995, when he led the Colts to the AFC Championship Game, narrowly missing a Super Bowl appearance after a heartbreaking loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Harbaugh was named to the Pro Bowl that year and finished second in NFL MVP voting. Known for his toughness and leadership, Harbaugh became a fan favorite in Indianapolis and is remembered for his gritty, competitive play during his tenure with the Colts.

Harbaugh wore this white mesh gamer during his final season in Indy when he won the prestigious George Halas Award. The single-color royal blue identifiers show wonderful wash wear, and the front "4" still has a contact mark visible. Highlighting the front is a "RI" memorial patch which was worn following the passing of team owner Robert Irsay. More marks and dings appear on the reverse from contact and use. The tail has three tags: "97" (year), Wilson and nearly washed out "size 48" tag. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
