1986 Eric Dickerson Game Worn NFC Championship Jersey - w/ Photomatch and Multiple Team Repairs. One of the NFL's most prolific running backs, who will forever be remembered for his trademark long curly hair and on-field goggles, elusive speedster Eric Dickerson wore this exemplary Los Angeles Rams jersey during the team's highly anticipated meeting with the Chicago Bears in the 1985 NFC Championship Game. Without question, this uniform is far and beyond the best Dickerson gamer to ever see hobby light.Between the Football Hall of Famer's prototypical custom-cut "V" neck, scattering of awesome team repairs throughout and a unique built-in hand warmer on the front, this jersey will make even the most savvy collectors drool. The proper screened-on royal blue numerals are covered with hit marks and scuffing from battle on the gridiron, with "Dickerson" screened on the back nameplate in the proper positioning. The complete double tail tagging is present, with the appropriate "Exclusivity" tag and "Sand Knit [size] 48".
The only detractor on this jersey is the absence of the team's 40th anniversary patch, which was above the left breast. Presumably, this shirt was also used the following season because of the presence of the sewn-in hand warmers, and was no longer in need of the commemorative designation. It is widely known that jerseys with the built-in cold weather customizations were used for multiple seasons.
