1979 Topps Nolan Ryan #115 PSA Gem Mint 10. Nolan Ryan's legendary 27-year career was defined by his blistering fastball, durability, and jaw-dropping strikeout totals. His durability lead to 222 complete games, even throwing 235 pitches in one game, which is mind boggling in today's era. Debuting with the Mets in 1968, he was part of their improbable 1969 World Series run before cementing his legacy elsewhere. By the time he retired in 1993, Ryan had tallied 324 wins, 5,714 strikeouts, and a record 7 no-hitters. Though he never won a Cy Young, his first-ballot Hall of Fame induction with 98.79% of the vote confirmed his greatness.
