Description

1954-57 Hank Aaron Game Bat, PSA/DNA GU 4. Though this pristine Adirondack 63A was denied the opportunity to participate in one of the most thrilling careers in Major League history, its rookie-era status alone should make it an attractive target to the advanced bat collector. Expert John Taube notes the bat was "game prepped by Aaron," suggesting the closest of brushes with the early history of the future Home Run King. Taube also notes that this "is the earliest Adirondack model bat that is seen with the handle ring." Length thirty-five inches, weight thirty-two ounces. A splendid old relic, and an attractive medium for an Aaron autograph should the mood strike. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 4.
