Description

1929 Jimmie Foxx Signed Baseball. Signed by Foxx as a twenty-one-year-old during his breakout season of 1929, when he posted a .354/.463/.625/1.088 slashline and 7.9 WAR. The OAL (Barnard) sphere exhibits scuffing and signs of use, but the league stamping remains clearly visible. Meanwhile, the steel-tip black fountain pen autograph across the sweet spot grades a 6/10 in strength. Jimmie Foxx was a three-time league MVP, two-time World Series champ and was the second member of the 500 home run club, joining that elite fray in 1940.

Please note that there is faded writing and/or signatures on the east panel. Also the date "10-28-29" on the north panel is written in an unknown hand and is not in the hand of Jimmie Foxx. Can be displayed as a single. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
