Signed 1958 Topps Mickey Mantle & Hank Aaron (World Series Batting Foes) #418 PSA VG 3 (MK), PSA/DNA Auto 9. The mighty Mick and his pinstriped pals would avenge the Fall Classic loss suffered the previous season, but this 1958 Topps card finds the pair sharing a strong mutual respect. "As far as I'm concerned," Mickey Mantle once told a reporter, "(Hank) Aaron is the best ball player of my era. He is to baseball of the last fifteen years what Joe DiMaggio was before him. He's never received the credit he's due."This pair was responsible for 1,291 regular season homers, so you're never going to find a signed card with more long ball history than this one, a fine-looking example with bright colors and crisp registration, hampered only by typical edge and corner wear and imperfect top/bottom centering. Only thirty-two examples of this signed card appear in the PSA population, and it's likely that some percentage of them are only signed by one of the two Hall of Famers. Small pencil notation on verso accounts for "MK" qualifier. Graded PSA VG 3 (MK) with a certified and graded PSA/DNA Auto 9.
