1934 World Wide Gum Carl Hubbell #71 PSA NM-MT 8. Carl Hubbell had a career year in 1934. During the second annual All-Star Game in '34, the Hall of Fame Giants pitcher consecutively retired Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons and Joe Cronin on strikes. Arguably the greatest individual performance in the Midsummer Classic until 1956. Offered is his 1934 World Wide Gum card #71. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Problem-free with tremendous colors and a bright white frame. PSA has graded well of 300 of the US version but only twenty of the Canadien variety. One of three in NM-MT with none rated higher.
