2005 Julius Jones Game Worn Throwback Helmet. One-half of the motor that drives the Dallas Cowboys potent ground game is represented with the exceptional game-worn headgear that we provide here. Julius Jones donned this very throwback helmet during a September 2005 contest at Texas Stadium against the Washington Redskins. Great wear can be discerned by numerous nicks and dings graciously applied by the Redskins defense. Damage to the facemask and sweaty wear to the interior protective padding are further evidence of use in the loss to their division rivals. Blue Dymo tape "J. Jones" has been applied to the rear center stripe. Custom decals with Cowboys navy blue lettering cover the front and reverse Riddell snubbers to match the team's color scheme. NFL logo, American flag and helmet warning decals are on the verso. With the Cowboys looking to be the strong team in the NFC, this excellent retro design helmet may become more desirable come February.Auction Info
