Description

1991-93 Danny Manning Game Worn Los Angeles Clippers Jersey. A two-time All-American, college Player of the Year, Final Four MVP, and NCAA champion, Danny Manning was the first overall pick of the 1988 NBA Draft and spent fifteen years in the league, earning two All-Star berths.

Manning was at his peak when he wore the jersey offered here, averaging 21.0 points per game between 1991-93. Road red mesh displays sewn-on tackle twill identifiers (with cool diamond-point "5"), captain's "C," "Champion 46" label, and "3" Extra Length" tag. Exhibits minimal wear and is signed and inscribed "Danny Manning 5" on the verso in vintage black sharpie.

Notes: The single tag dates from Sand-Knit to Champion transition period and we are aware of other known exemplars. This was a stock jersey that was carried forward for Manning. Features 5.5"-long vents in tail. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
