Despite not having quite the pedigree of some of the other rookies in the iconic Fleer set, Malone was a two-time All-Star and key contributor to the Bullets. However, the real demand for this card is based on the fact that it has the lowest Gem Mint population of any card in the set at 67 versus Johnny Moore (68). Coincidentally, the PSA population of this card matches the card number for Malone in this set (67) and is a must have for any collector putting together a Gem Mint collection of the most important set of basketball cards in history.
