1995 Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl XXX Championship Ring Presented to Running Back Dominique Ross.While back-to-back Championships are typically enough to ensure some degree of athletic immortality, the third time is the true charm. When the 'boys reclaimed the Lombardi Trophy for a third Super Bowl Championship in four seasons, the mid-1990's squad entered an elite brotherhood with the 1960's Green Bay Packers and the 1980's San Francisco 49ers as the leading NFL power of its decade, stamping its name into the record books in bold type.
Presented is an important symbol of that age of dominance in the Lone Star State, the ring issued to rookie running back Dominique Ross, whose NFL career consisted of three appearances for the 1995 and 1996 Cowboys.
Team owner Jerry Jones spared no expense in creating Championship rings for his world-beating Cowboys, the massive face choked in real diamonds that tell the story of five franchise Super Bowl victories. "Dallas Cowboys" stands in raised lettering at top and bottom. Left shank reports Ross' name and jersey number along with the NFL logo, the score of the game, and the since-demolished Texas Stadium. Three more diamonds appear on right shank to add sparkle to the miniature Lombardi Trophies of the dynasty, while remembering those 1970's successes as well. "World Champions" booms from above, with the logo of Super Bowl XXX below.
Interior band measures to a size thirteen and a half (13.5). Total weight is seventy-six grams (76 g.). Fine condition with just minor wear evident. No stamping inside band, but tests at fourteen karat gold (14K).
