Description

1974-79 Jim Rice Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5 from The Greg Stiegler Royals Bat Boy Collection. Jim Rice used Fenway Park to his advantage as he forged a Hall of Fame career within the confines of the stadium. This Adirondack model 194VP bat (36" and 33.9 ounces) saw plenty of action when Rice was the in early stages of his career. A handle crack allowed Stiegler the opportunity to take this home. A few ball marks found their way onto the back barrel and there are red bat rack streaks. Zig-zag athletic tape is secured around the handle and "14" and the model number are found on the knob. A rare, early career, gamer from the man who kept the Red Sox relevant for sixteen years. LOA from former Royals Bat Boy Greg Stiegler. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.5.
