Description

1926 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Among the toughest of all Yankee team balls is the 1926 vintage, representing the fourth pinstriped crew to capture the American League flag. Here we present just such a rarity, an OAL (Johnson) sphere providing a roster of twenty-four names including a sweet spot "Babe" Ruth, Gehrig, Combs, Lazzeri, Pennock and the rare Urban Shocker, who would not live to see the change of the decade. Autograph strength ranges from 2/10 to 8/10, sealed beneath a glossy coating of shellac that has chipped in a few spots. An exciting relic from the season that the Babe clubbed three homers for a hospitalized boy named Johnny Sylvester, one of the most celebrated tales in Ruth lore. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
