1914 B18 Blankets Shoeless Joe Jackson (Purple Pennants) SGC Authentic. Five years prior to a bad decision that would ultimately result in his banishment from baseball, Joe Jackson appeared was one of the most talented figures in the B18 baseball blankets series from 1914. Nicknamed "blankets" because they were often sewn into quilts and pillow cases, these 5.25" square felt artifacts are particularly condition-sensitive and challenging to acquire in high grade. Offered is his "Purple Pennants" color variation. Encapsulated SGC Authentic. SGC doe not grade these, but will slab them for protection and display. This example features very bold colors with some minor staining. A beautiful item that displays superbly.Auction Info
