Description

2001 David Wells Game Worn Jersey. Perhaps the toughest of all Wells styles is offered here, worn during a single injury-plagued season that saw Boomer pitch just one hundred innings. This grey roadster exhibits expectedly light but definite wear, with "Chicago 33" spelled in black and white tackle twill across the chest, and "Wells 33" applied to verso. Team logo and American League Centennial patches appear on left and right sleeves respectively. Proper "Majestic Authentic Collection" labeling in tail resides above an embroidered swatch announcing "01 56 S2" denoting year, size and set. A 10/10 black sharpie signature on verso bears the added notation "2001." A fine keepsake from this twenty-one year veteran of the Major League mound. A letter of provenance from Wells is included. LOA from Lou Lampson. LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
