Description
1904 Allegheny Card Co. Jim Hackett SGC 84 NM 7. By definition the rarest of all baseball card issues, it is believed that just a single prototype for this boxed card game was ever made, failing to reach production. The set consists of 112 known cards, each featuring only National League players, and cut by hand. The set was discovered in the late 1980's and sold at auction in 1991, and again in 1995, before it was broken up and the cards sold individually. Here we present the one and only example of St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Jim Hackett, rating an impressive NM 7. If you are enamored with "1 of 1" cards, this is clearly the issue for you.Auction Info
