UPDATE: Additional information has been added to the title.

Offered is a T206 White Border tobacco card featuring Howie Camnitz "Hands Over Head" with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The reverse displays a "Piedmont - 350-460 Subjects" ad with a factory 25 caption. The cards from this collection being presented in this auction all have characteristics in common that every T206 fan desires. Beautiful colors, quality corners, problem free surfaces and a bright white border quality resulting in eye appeal that exceeds the assigned grade. The same high quality reflects the reverse. Graded PSA NM 7. Every T206 player is represented by hundreds, with a growing number reaching over one thousand examples. There are currently just over one-hundred examples confirmed on the PSA census for this front/back combination. Of those, this is one of only four examples graded NM with one graded higher.

More Information: "The Pitcher’s Cache" – An original owner collection of 1909-11 T206 cards
The following twenty-nine lots originate from an exceptional T206 collection traces its origins back over a century to a young pitcher who played "semi-pro" baseball in 1910 at the age of 18. According to family lore, it was around this time that he began carefully assembling what would become a meticulously preserved and lovingly curated album of T206 baseball cards. Passed down through generations, the collection has remained in the same family for an astonishing 115 years—an increasingly rare and treasured provenance in the hobby.
The album contained a near-complete set of T206 cards, remarkably without duplication—an extraordinary accomplishment, especially for a collector acquiring the cards during the original period of issue. The cards were thoughtfully organized and harmlessly corner mounted, with evidence of a deliberate effort to group teams in the order of their 1910 season standings. The Philadelphia Athletics, champions of that year's World Series, appear first—perhaps offering a clue to the original collector’s favorite team.
Thanks to over a century of careful storage, the cards remain in remarkable condition. Their colors are vivid, their surfaces bright, and many retain crisp eye appeal that far exceeds their technical grades. This is the third of several offerings from this collection to be presented over forthcoming auctions.
