1910 W555 Jay S. Meyer "Base Ball Snap Shots" Christy Mathewson PSA VG 3. For years, little square Black & White cards not much larger than postage stamps fell into the "W" class of cards, the usual catch all for cards of unknown origin or circulation. You can't blame Burdick as they certainly look like they would have been sold in strips or uncut panels. But the known subjects and portraits matched those in the E93, E94, E97 and E98 productions strongly suggesting a candy connection. The mystery in regards to where they came from and how they were sold was solved when an intact box confirmed they were produced by Jay S. Meyer under the title "Base Ball Snap Shots" and came as part of a package designed to be folded into a little camera. Offered is a very nicely cut example of Christy Mathewson with a full white outline visible, graded PSA VG 3. A small area on the reverse with a rough cut with some stock missing. Total population is only 6, this is the lone VG example, there is one higher
