1976 Chris Chambliss Game Used Bicentennial Bat. Above all else, the New York Yankees organization is known for its tradition. Chris Chambliss is recognized among the Yankees' large fan base for his historic home run which propelled the Yankees to the Fall Classic. Used the same season Chris Chambliss connected on his landmark home run is this Louisville Slugger model C284 bat - 29 ounces and 35". The cracked stick has ball marks on the back barrel and moderate checking from repeated contact. Athletic tape on the handle and bat streaks add to the overall visual appear. "10" is written on both ends of the bat. The handle crack runs at least 13" and is partially concealed by the tape. Undoubtedly, the preferred model of bat for a Chambliss collector.Auction Info
