1970 Donruss Odder Odd Rods Wax Box with 24 Unopened Packs. The 1970 Donruss "Odder Odd Rods" series is a colorful, whimsical collection of trading cards that tapped into the late 60s and early 70s car culture, combined with a monster-themed, humorous twist. Following the success of their initial "Odd Rods" series released in 1969, Donruss expanded on the concept with "Odder Odd Rods" to cater to the same audience that loved hot rods, custom cars, and the emerging craze for everything outlandish and over-the-top. These cards featured bizarre and humorous illustrations of monsters, creatures, and quirky characters driving exaggerated, often impossible vehicles. The artwork was vivid and engaging, playing into the era's fascination with counterculture and the unconventional. Offered is an unopened wax box that include 24 sealed 5-cent wax packs.
