2008 Amani Toomer Game Worn New York Giants Super Bowl XLII Helmet. For the New York Giants to do the unthinkable against the undefeated New England Patriots more than one player had to step up his game. A collective team effort would be needed if the G-Men could make history. One of the men who garnered headlines was Amani Toomer as he grabbed six receptions for a team-high 84 yards. His day also included a 50-yard touchdown reception which helped set the tone. When Toomer was playing in the biggest of game of his life, he was wearing this very helmet. A few pieces of confetti accompany this historic headgear. Five decals decorate the back: "21" Sean Taylor memorial, "Super Bowl XLII," "81," American flag, transparent warning sticker and NFL shield. Small, circular Velcro fasteners are saddled inside along with these stickers: (2) white warning, "2008 Noc-Sae" recertified and "[size] L." Blue gel padding is fitted inside as a protective measure.
