Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Joe McCarthy, Earle Combs, Bill Dickey, Lefty Gomez, Tony Lazzeri, Herb Pennock, Red Ruffing and Joe Sewell represent the Yankees HOFers, while the Cubs included Rogers Hornsby, Kiki Cuyler, Burleigh Grimes and Gabby Hartnett.
