1982-83 Bernard King Game Worn New York Knicks Jersey. Watching Bernard King on the offensive end was a thing of beauty. An explosive first step had most defenders retreating when he made a dash to the basket. Throw in a silky smooth jumper and King was the Big Apple's finest during his impressive run. But he may be most remembered from coming back from the dreaded ACL injury. The former scoring champion, and Hall of Famer, finished up with nearly 20,000 points. Authenticated with a letter of provenance signed by former Knicks equipment manager Mike Saunders is this "Gerry Cosby [size] 44" midnight navy pullover. Moderate superstar wear is shown on the pullover which has "30 New York" on front in reverse order and "King 30" on back. The anchor stitching on the team name has taken on a pinkish hue from a multitude of launderings. Each of the identifiers are featured in two-tone tackle twill. Applied in the tail are three labels: Knicks Medalist Sand Knit exclusivity, Cosby manufacturer's label and suspended size. Letter of provenance from former Knicks equipment manager Mike Saunders.
