2018 Shohei Ohtani Game Used & Signed Rookie Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Shohei Ohtani's 2018 season was one of the most anticipated and scrutinized debuts in modern baseball history, and the two-way sensation from Japan delivered in historic fashion. Splitting time as both a designated hitter and starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, Ohtani became the first player since Babe Ruth to produce elite-level performance in both roles. Offensively, he posted a .285/.361/.564 slash line with 22 home runs, 61 RBIs, and 10 stolen bases in just 104 games.On the mound, he made ten starts, recording a 3.31 ERA with 63 strikeouts in 51.2 innings, showcasing a fastball that touched triple digits and a devastating splitter.
